| About: | Tohoku Judo Club is a traditional dojo with a long history of competition and excellence.
Judo is the art throwing and holding your opponent, using their motions and off balance to your advantage. Kodokan Judo is practiced world-wide and, unlike karate or other martial arts, there is only one style of Judo and one set of rules; and Judo has been an Olympic Sport since 1964.
Tohoku Judo Club has been in Somerville for nearly 50 years and has produced many local, state, national and international champions.
We are a non-profit organization; instructors and senior members voluntarily teach, coach and maintain the club.
Tohoku offers classes for adults and children, male and female, who are interested in competitive and non-competitive Judo. |
